Questions about EFES insurance in Armenia
Are you the insurance company?
No. iEquity is an official EFES partner with authorized agency access. We handle the request and issuance; EFES is the insurer named in the policy.
Can visitors and Armenian residents apply?
Yes, you can request a review. The available product depends on citizenship, permanent residence, age and the trip or insurance need. Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance.
Can I apply before or after arriving in Armenia?
Tell us your arrival date and when you want cover to start. We check whether issuance is possible before requesting payment. Do not assume retrospective cover or issuance after arrival is available.
Can I include my family?
Yes. Enter each traveller’s details separately. Availability and the premium are reviewed for each person under the relevant product terms.
How much does EFES insurance cost, and when will I receive my policy?
They depend on the product, age, destination, period and level of cover. After eligibility review and completion of documents, we provide the terms, price and payment instructions. Your policy file is sent within 3 business hours after payment. No discount is guaranteed.
Is this Armenia’s mandatory health insurance?
No. This page handles requests for private EFES products. Health+ supplements UHI; it does not replace statutory enrolment or obligations.
What should I do if I become ill or have an accident?
