FAQ
Banking — frequently asked questions
Can a foreigner open a bank account in Armenia?
Yes. Foreigners can open personal accounts, and foreign-owned Armenian companies can open corporate accounts. Banks apply individual compliance checks, so file preparation before the appointment is what determines success.
Do I have to visit Armenia in person?
In most cases yes — banks generally require one in-person visit for identification and signatures. We compress everything into a single prepared appointment and accompany you at the branch.
How much does the service cost?
The corporate + personal package is $590; a single account is $350. Both cover bank matching, compliance file preparation, appointment booking and in-branch accompaniment.
Which currencies and transfers are available?
Multi-currency accounts in AMD, USD, EUR and RUB are standard, with cards and international transfers subject to each bank’s compliance policy. We flag any restrictions relevant to your citizenship or business before you commit.
